Devin Thomas’ three-run homer was the big blow as Sacred Heart-Griffin scored four in the bottom of the fifth to take a 6-3 lead.

Drake Fellows hit a home run and pitched a complete game in the five-inning victory.
Collinsville 4, No. 11 O’Fallon 2
Matthew Cook pitched a three-hitter with nine strikeouts and three walks for Collinsville.
No. 23 Marist 7, R-S Central (NC) 6
Matt Donohue’s two-run double in the bottom of the fifth gave Marist a 6-4 lead at the Mingo Bay Classic in South Carolina. Brian Wood drove in two and was the winning pitcher in relief as Marist went 3-0 in pool play to advance to Friday’s semifinals.
Bloomington 10, Pekin 3
Chris Knotts pitched a complete game and went 3-for-3 for Bloomington. Ben Niebur had three hits and Tyler Stewart drove in three runs.
Springfield 8, Glenwood 1
Michael Lavin went 4-for-4 with four RBI and pitched 4⅓ scoreless to get the win. Trevor Mindor had two hits and two RBI.
Montini 11, Willoughby South (OH) 0
Justin Blake had three hits and scored three runs for the Broncos.
Morton 4, Greenville 2
Vinni Massaglia went the distance and Adam Christianson went 3-for-4 with three RBI for the Porters. Massaglia allowed four hits and struck out eight.
Jacksonville 5, Springfield Southeast 2
Grant Scaman pithced a complete game and went 2-for-3 with two RBI in the victory.
Lockport 9, Joliet West 5
Steven Salvino and Joey McGuire each had three of Lockport’s 16 hits. Michael Stevens allowed an unearned run on two hits in five innings for the Porters.
Lake Zurich 9, Mehlville 3
Camden Boyle homered and had three RBI and Kyle Obsuszt had three hits for the Bears.
Yorkville 7, Oswego East 6
Winning pitcher Jonathon Jungr hit a two-run homer in the top of the fifth to give the Foxes a 7-3 lead.
Oswego 3, Morris 0
Carter Turnquist pitched a three-hitter with six strikeouts and two walks. Joseph Fogarty had a two-run double as Oswego broke the scoreless tie with three in the bottom of the sixth.
Joliet Central 6, Plainfield Central 2
Tom Langley hit a home run and Tyler Lawson survived nine Plainfield Central hits to go the distance.
Crystal Lake South 11, Murphysboro 10
The 22nd hit of the ballgame, a single by Cam Geisser, brought home Griffin Bright with the winning run in the bottom of the seventh. Geisser and Bright were among six Gators with two hits.
Fenwick 11, St. Charles (OH) 1
Jay Militello went 3-for-3 with three RBI and Casey O’Laughlin went 3-for-4 with four RBI for the Friars.
Batavia 10, Naperville North 4
Tyler Kledzik and Luke Beckmann had big days for Batavia. Kledzik went 3-for-3 with a double, home-run and five RBI. Beckmann went 2-for-4, double, triple and three RBI.
