It was a big day of action around the state on Saturday. Here are scores and highlights from Saturday's games.

Ballard overcame a 5-0 defecit for the come-from-behind win.
#2 St. Xavier 8 DeSales 2
Sam Springer, Josh Osborne, and Hayden Ford each collected 2 hits apiece, and Austin Clemons walked 4 times and scored 3 runs in the victory. Winning pitcher Connor Underwood allowed 4 hits and 1 ER in 4.2 innings of work.
#2 St. Xavier 5 #15 Trinity 4
Aaron Grammar collected 2 hits, and Austin Clemons added a double as the Tigers scored twice in the 5th inning to take the lead for good. Cam Revelette picked up the win allowing 3 ER in 6 innings. Scott Spurlock pitched a scoreless 7th to earn the save.
#3 Henderson Co 6 Trigg Co 4
Henderson County scored 6 runs on just 2 hits, taking advantage of 6 walks and 3 Trigg Co errors. Kole Gibson tripled for Henderson Co, and Clay Church threw 4.2 innings of scoreless baseball in relief to record the win.
#5 Lafayette 10 Barren Co 0
#7 Mercer Co 6 Larue Co 2
Layne Peavler, Chris Goodman, Russell Sims, Curry Brown, and Jackson Stoeckinger all collected 2 hits apiece as Mercer County scored 4 times in the 4th inning to break the game open. Tanner Robbins fired a complete game 2-hit shutout with 9 K’s to pick up the win.
#7 Mercer Co 22 Western 0 (5 innings)
Brandon Doughty homered and drove in 3 runs, and Zach Clements threw a no-hitter with 8 K’s to pick up the win.
#9 McCracken Co 18 Dyersburg TN 6
Daniel Seitzinger went 3-for-5 with 3 RBI, Dylan Hunphrey went 2-for-4 with a triple and 3 RBI, and Shubert Moffatt added 2 hits as McCracken County won the RH Ladd tournament in Tennessee. Preston Frommeyer threw 4 innings of 1-hit baseball with 6 K’s.
#10 Scott Co 6 Western Hills 5
Cam Hill went 3-for-4, and Chase Martin added 2 hits as Scott County took the lead with 2 runs in the 5th and held on for the victory.

Trey Merida went 3-for-5 with a triple and 4 RBI, Justin King went 3-for-4 with 2 doubles and drove in a run, Jake Purkins doubled twice and drove in 3 runs, and Christian Beckley added 2 hits and 2 RBI as West Jessamine pounded out 15 hits in the victory. Joe Ivey worked 4 innings to pick up the win.
#20 west Jessamine 6 Somerset 4
Trey Merida doubled home 2 runs and picked up the win on the mound allowing 1 ER with 4 K’s in 4 innings of work.
Harlan Co 3 #21 North Laurel 2
Jared Sizemore allowed 3 hits and no earned runs over 5.1 innings, and Connor Leisge worked the final 1.2 innings to earn the save.

Kameron Conley and Cole Ratliff each had 2 hits, and Conley picked up the win allowing 2 hits while striking out 5 in 6 innings of work.

Vincent Boils went 2-for-4 with a double and RBI, and Trevor Howard added a HR and 2 RBI to lead Southwestern. Boils and Jacob Burchett combined to allow just 4 hits with 9 K’s on the mound.
Bethlehem 3 Covington Catholic 2
Alan Webb went 2-for-3 at the plate and worked 5.2 innings on the mound allowing 5 hits and 2 ER in picking up the win. Jimi Keating pitched the final 1.1 innings to earn the save.
Bowling Green 2 Russell County 1 (8 innings)
Devin Hayes went 3-for-4 with a double and RBI, and Jackson Gooding added an RBI single as Bowling Green won in extra innings. Stuart Posey and Ethan Wilson combined to throw 6 hitless innings with Wilson picking up the win in relief.

Brett Cohoon went 3-for-3 with an RBI, and Jonathan Embry went 2-for-4 with a triple and 3 RBI in the Cal victory. Winning pitcher Jake Hollinsworth allowed 1 hit and 1 ER in 3 innings of work.

Robbie Stephens went 2-for-2 with 3 RBI, Cody Kalinowski drove in 2 runs, and Drew Schacht and Nick Hostetter each collected 2 hits in the LCA win. Winning pitcher Jax Blair threw 4 innings of scoreless baseball.

Evan Flener went 3-for-3 with a double and 4 RBI, and Tyler Wilson scatterd 5 hits in going the distance in the complete game effort.
Mason Co 13 Pendleton CO 2 (6 innings)
Lukas Greenhill went 3-for-4 with a double and 3RBI, and Drew Spangler went 3-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI to lead the Mason County offense. Michael Sutton added 2 hits and 2 RBI, and Darren Williams picked up the win on the mound.
Sayre 10 Jackson Co 0 (6 innings)
John Van Balen went 3-for-4 with 2 RBI, Christian Moore and Christian Courtney each added 2 hits and 2 RBI, and Aidan Elias went 2-for-3 with a double in the victory. Moore fired a 3-hitter with 10 K’s in the complete game shutout.
Sayre 11 Raceland 3
Aidan Elias went 3-for-5, and Michael Flora went 2-for-2 with 3 RBI as Sayre won its second game of the day. Mason Stockham picked up the win allowing 2 ER with 6 K’s in 4 innings of work.

Brandon McKinney and Christian Nolan each collected 3 hits, and Andrew Farmer picked up the win throwing 5 scoreless innings.

Cody Bridges went 3-for-4 with 3 RBI, and Hunter Sullivan went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI. Sullivan recorded the win on the mound allowing 1 ER while striking out 4 in 4 innings of work.

Jaxon Stewart collected 3 hits, and Seth Hill and Evan Lay combined to allow just 3 hits while striking out 13 in the extra-inning win.

Hunter Jaco went 3-for-3 with 2 RBI, and Austin Johnson went 2-for-3 with a double and 3 RBI as Marshall County cruised to the win. Jaco allowed 1 hit and struck out 5 in going 3 innings to pick up the win.

Tyler Knight went 4-for-4 with 2 doubles and 4 RBI, Austin Johnson added 4 hits, and Timothy Wimpee drove in 3 runs as Franklin Simpson cruised to the victory. Reed Caudill and Devin Gregory cobined on the shutout.

Nolan Elder went 2-for-3 with a double, and Isaac Gough fired a complete game 3-hit shutout for the win.

Nate Hopewell went 2-for-3 with a double, HR, and 4 RBI, and Logan Burnett and John Mark Thompson each added 2 hits in the Apollo victory. Josh Owens picked up the win with 3 scoreless innings of relief.
Ballard 11 Franklin Co 4
Jordon Adell launched a grand slam HR and drove in 5 runs while also allowing 4 hits and striking out 8 in 6 innings of work to record the win on the mound.
Daviess Co 10 Hopkinsville 0
Zach Burton went 2-for-3 and also pitched a complete game 2-hitter with 5 K’s. Noah Pike added an RBI double and Jack Schneider 2 RBI in the win.

Billy McCoy fired a complete game, 1-hit shutout with 8 K’s.
Taylor Co 6 Cumberland Co 1
Tyler Frogge and Jordan Nicholas each had 2 hits, and Dalton Brown struck out 6 in going the distance in the complete game effort.

Dalton Brown went 2-for-3 with 2 RBI, and Tyler Frogge went 5.2 innings with 5 K’s to pick up the win. Noah Scott pitched a scoreless 1.1 innings to earn the save.

Brandon Lord doubled twice and drove in a run, Sam Jiunta added 2 hits, and Jack Branchini drove in 2 runs in the Henry Clay win.
Boyle Co 13 Model 4
Micah Miniard doubled and drove in 3 runs, and Jase Sharp doubled and drove in 2 as Boyle County cruised to the victory. Hagan Ellis truck out 4 over 5 innings to record the win.
Butler 4 Anderson Co 3
Nolan Simpkins and Kyle Goodman each drove in 2 runs, and Tyler Sturgeon racked up 11 K’s in 6.1 innings to pick up the win. Aaron Hedgecock came on to record the final 2 outs to earn the save.
Murray 14 Livingston Central 4 (5 innings)
Taylor Nelson went 3-for-4 with 2 doubles and 4 RBI, and Luke Brown, BJ Elder, and Tanner Foster each added 2 hits to lead the Murray offense. Nelson racked up 7 K’s in 5 innings of work to pick up the win.
Garrard Co 4 Harrison Co 2
Evan Smith, Cruz Amon, and Seth Murphy all doubled in the Garrard County win. Murphy and Matt Wilburn combined for 6 K’s over 4 innings pitched.

Seth murphy went 2-for-4 with a double, and Logan Teague tossed 6 innings of 3-hit baseball with 7 K’s to pick up the win.

Cameron Masterman went 3-for-4 with 6 RBI, Flynn Crawford went 3-for-4 with 2 doubles, Ethan Cleary added 2 hits and 3 RBI, and Andrew Pennybaker and Peter Sohn chipped in 2 hits as North Oldham pounded out 16 hits in the victory. Cleary struck out 8 in going the distance on the mound for the win.

Eamon Hannan and Peyton Puckett each collected 2 hits, and Clayton Carrico drove in 2 runs with a double. Justin Hayden allowed 0 ER in 5 innings with 5 K’s for the win.

Steven Standafer went 2-for-2 with a double, and Joe Crisp and Kyler Dugle combined to throw a 2-hit shutout with 10 K’s.

Ben Vermeil had an RBI double and Todd Ramey drove in 2 runsin the Highlands victory. Vermeil picked up the win working 3 innings in relief.
