Rain made for an abbreviated schedule of games last evening. Here is a look at scores and highlights from games played around the state.

Luke Rouse went 3-for-3 with a double and RBI, Jordan Fucci went 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI, and Devin Hairston and Blake Rose each added 2 hits as Tates Creek blew open a tie game with 8 runs in the 6th inning. Jackson Tipton picked up the win with a scoreless inning of relief.

#17 Central Hardin 8 Southern 0
Isaac Van Meter drove in 2 runs, Ben Heideman drove in 2 runs, and Ean Barker added an RBI double in the shutout victory. Troy Riggs worked 5 innings of 3-hit scoreless baseball to pick up the win.

#25 Lewis Co 11 Greenup Co 4
Jordan McCann went 3-for-4 with a double and RBI, Jordan Davis went 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI, and Daulton Mason added 2 hits and drove in 2 runs in the win for Lewis County. Isaac Weddington picked up the win allowing 0 ER and striking out 5 in his 4 innings of work.

East Jessamine scored 3 times in the 6th to break open a close game. Stephen Treadway homered, Luke Thatcher doubled home 2 runs, and Jacob Burnight drove in 3 runs in the Jaguars win. Zach Patrick picked up the win with 3.2 innings of scoreless relief with 3 K’s. Sam Jiunta doubled twice in the loss for Henry Clay.

Mason County scored 3 times in the bottom of the 7th for the walkoff win. Nathan Cracraft went 2-for-4 with a HR and 2 RBI, Aaron Scilley added 2 hits, and Cody Whisman added an RBI triple in the victory. Cracraft picked up the win in relief, striking out the side in his 1 inning of work.
Spencer County 8 Fairdale 6
Avery Vannatta went 3-for-3 with a HR and 2 RBI, and Nathan Conard added 2 hits as Spencer County survived a late rally from Fairdale. Jacob Cole allowed 3 runs in 6 innings of work to earn the win.
Shelby Co 10 Gallatin Co 2
Steven Standafer doubled twice and drove in 4 runs, Kipp Moore went 3-for-4 with a double, and Zach Holmes went 2-for-3 with a double and RBI to lead Shelby County. Moore recorded the win allowing 1 run while striking out 5 in 4 innings.
Madison Southern 1 Boyle Co 0
Devin Vanover singled home the winning run in the bottom of the 7th to win in walk-off fashion. Griffen Norris went the distance for Madison Southern allowing 5 hits and striking out 11 in the complete game shutout. Addison Coffey was the hard luck losing pitcher allowing just 2 hits and striking out 8 in 6.1 innings of work.
