Three was a lot of action on the diamond last evening highlighted by the upset of some Power 25 teams. Here is a look at scores and highlights from around the state.

#1 Paul Laurence Dunbar 1 Henry Clay 0
In a game that featured 7 total hits, Connor McHugh drove in the winning run in the 5th for PLD. Nicky Avioli added a double in the win. Winning pitcher Zac Conner worked 6 scoreless innings and Isaac Taylor worked a scoreless 7th to earn the save.
#3 Henderson Co 16 University Heights 3 (5 innings)
#4 Tates Creek 16 #10 Scott Co 6
Devin Hairston went 3-for-5 with 2 doubles, Luke Rouse went 2-for-4 with 3 RBI, and Blake Rose and Kendrick Rose each drove in 2 runs as Tates Creek scored 6 runs in the 2nd and never looked back. Tanner Hart struck out 4 in 3 innings of work for the win. Chase Martin doubled and hit a 3-run HR in the loss for Scott County.
#6 Lexington Catholic 12 Franklin Co 1 (5 innings)
Riley Jackson homered and drove in 3 runs, and Daniel Little and Griffin Neuer each added 2 hits and 2 RBI to lead the Knights to the victory. Winning pitcher Anthony Ethington allowed 4 hits in going the distance.
#7 Mercer Co 4 Anderson Co 3
Russell Sims went 2-for-2, and Logan Horn drove in 2 runs as Mercer Co jumped out to a 4-0 lead and held on for the win. Winning pitcher JT Long struck out 7 over 5 innings of work.

Bethlehem 7 #12 Bullitt East 6
Conner Ballard and Alan Webb each drove in 2 runs, and Blake Brangers added 2 hits as Bethlehem upset #12 Bullitt East. Jimi Keating allowed 4 ER in 6.1 IP with 6 K’s to pick up the win. Jacob Bowles and Dillon Coffman homered in the loss for Bullitt East.
#14 North Bullitt 11 Seneca 2
Logan Wyatt homered in the North Bullitt victory.
#17 Central Hardin 7 Glasgow 5
Sophomores Justin Rouse and Ben Heideman had two hits apiece, each with a
double while sophomore Ean Barker launched a three-run home run in the
third inning. Junior Luke McCamish threw four innings with 6 strike outs to earn the
win, and Barker earned the save.
Greenwood 5 #18 Logan Co 1
Drew Hayles doubled home 2 runs, Michael Justice added 2 RBI, and Russ Kerr homered in the Greenwood win. Ben Cole worked 5 2/3 innings of 1-run baseball to pick up the win.
#22 Nelson Co 7 Woodford Co 2
Zech Maulden went 2-for-2 with a double and RBI, and Trey Gillis drove in 2 runs to lead the Cardinals. Alex Briney allowed 0 earned runs and struck out 6 in 4 innings to pick up the win.
#23 Bourbon Co 7 Pendleton Co 0
Dalton Pope struck out 14 hitters in 6 innings to pick up the win for Bourbon County.
Greenup Co 6 #25 Lewis Co 4 (8 innings)
JB Brown went 3-for-4 with a double, and Jared Hunt added 2 hits as Greenup Co upset #25 Lewis Co. Jesse Hall picked up the win in relief tossing 5.2 innings of 1-run baseball with 9 K’s.

Cameron Shryock went 3-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI, and Jacob Lewis added 2 hits in the victory. Jacob Smiley allowed 3 hits and 1 run in 5 innings to pick up the win.
Clay Co 3 Knox Central 2
Tyler Allen went 3-0for-4 with a double and HR, and Dylan Garrison went 2-for-4 with a double to lead Clay County. Tanner Hoskins allowed 4 hits and struck out 8 in going the distance for the win.
DuPont Manual 8 Whitefield Academy 0
Manual pounded out 15 hits led by Chris Gambert going 3-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI, and Aubrey Lipscomb gping 2-for-3 with 2 runs scored. Ben Flanigan worked 5 scoreless innings with 5 K’s to pick up the win.
East Jessamine 4 LCA 2 (10 innings)
Chase Wozniak collected 2 hits and stole 2 bases as East Jessamine won in extra innings. Sam Hall picked up the win in relief of Connor Lindsay. Hall allowed 1 hit and 1 run in 4 innings of work. Lindsay pitched well, throwing 5 scoreless innings of 1-hit baseball.
Daviess Co 12 McLean Co 2 (6 innings)
Jed Arend went 3-for-4 with 3 RBI, Andrew Hayden added 2 hits, and Noah Pike homered as Daviess Co cruised to the victory. Hayden allowed 2 hits and no earned runs over 4 innings to record the win.
Montgomery Co 7 Madison Central 4
Tyler Thomas and Zach Wood collected 2 hits apiece, and Dalton Lee added 2 RBI in the win. Dustyn Stevens worked 5 1/3 innings to pick up the win.
St. Mary 7 Graves Co 1
Matt Higgins went 2-for-4 with a double and 2 RBI, and Jon Darnell homered in the St. Mary victory. Nick Eggemeyer worked 5 innings of 3-hit, 1-run baseball with 7 K’s in the winning effort.
Sayre 9 Berea 6
Michael Flora and Mason Stockham each had 2 hits and 2 RBI in the Sayre win.
Elizabethtown 3 Southern 1
Jon Tarrence went 2-for-3 with a RBI, and Hunter Sullivan allowed 3 hits and 1 earned run with 9 K’s over 5.1 innings to pick up the win.
South Laurel 6 Somerset 2
Brennan Miller drove in 2 runs, and Zach Allen added an RBI double in the South Laurel victory. Wiining pitcher Trey Martin allowed just 1 hit in 4 scoreless innings.
Paintsville 10 Boyd Co 2
Taylor Miller went 2-for-3 with a double and 4 RBI, and Kash Daniel went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI to lead Paintsville. Daniel struck out 5 in 2.1 innings of work on the mound.
Danville 18 Burgin 0 (5 innings)
Collin Harris homered twice and drove in 4 runs, and Mason Stamm went 3-for-3 with a double, HR, and 5 RBI as Danville cruised to the victory.
Hopkinsville 14 Caldwell Co 3
Trailing 2-1, Hopkinsville scored 13 runs in the final 2 innings to blow the game open. Keaton Scruggs allowed 4 hits and 2 runs with 7 K’s in 6 innings of work to pick up the win.
Taylor Co 5 Washington Co 1
Tyler Frogge went 2-for-4 and scored 3 runs, and Dalton Brown allowed 3 hits and 1 earned run in 6 innings to pick up the win.
