Here is a look at some of the scores and highlights from the action around the state last evening.
Beech 13, Northwest (Clarksville, TN) 2
Jacob Jenkins went 2-for-3 with a home run and 4 RBI, Jesse McCoy went 3-for-5 with a double and 3 RBI, and Ryan Mortensen added a double and an RBI in the win. Dalton Hall worked 4 innings, allowing 2 runs and handing out 4 strikeouts to pick up the win on the mound.
Blackman 11, Smyrna 1
Kody Keiser and Travis Odom each had a double and 2 RBI in the victory. Spencer Woods picked up the win on the mound, working 6 innings with 4 strikeouts and only 1 run allowed.
Hendersonville 4, Clarksville NE 1
Brandon Fuller went 2-for-2 with a double and 2 RBI in the victory. Hayden Mullins worked 5 scoreless innings with 5 strikeouts to pick up the win on the mound.
Creek Wood 10, Fairview 4
Zeke Lecomte went 3-for-3 with 3 doubles and 2 RBI, and Dylan DePriest went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI in the win. DePriest also picked up the win on the mound, working 5 innings with 9 strikeouts and allowing on 1 run.
Davidson Academy 6, Franklin Road Academy 3
Alec Harris went 2-for-2 with a homerun and 3 RBI, and Ben Switzer went 2-for-4 with a double in the win. Jackson Vetetoe pitched a complete game, allowing only 3 runs.
Ravenwood 7, Dickson County 1
Alec Lubas went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI, Zane Denton had a double, and Jack Kopecky went 2-for-3 with an RBI. Lubas also picked up the win on the mound, working 5 innings with 6 strikeouts.
Chattanooga Central 7, East Ridge 0
Walker Waters had 2 RBI, and Joe Clark & Micah Weaver each added an RBI in the victory. Waters also pitched 5 scoreless innings with 7 strikeouts to pick up the win on the mound.
East Robertson 10, Middle TN Christian 3
Justin Rye went 2-for-3 with a triple and 3 RBI, Spencer Jones went 3-for-4 with a 2 RBI, and James Coleman added 2 RBI in the win. Sam Myles picked up the win in relief.
Harding Academy 14, St. Benedict 1
Jake Criswell went 3-for-4 with a double and 4 RBI, Ty Wooton had a double and 3 RBI, and Noah Sharp had a double and 2 RBI in the win. Criswell also pitched all 5 innings, allowing only 1 run and striking out 9.
Anderson County 2, Knoxville Central 1
Carson Pack pitched 6.2 innings, allowing only 1 run and handing out 12 strikeouts in the win.
