Despite a five-run fifth inning from the Knights, Mundelein held off Prospect 9-5 on Thursday. Senior Steven Sanchez went 2-for-3 with a homerun, three RBI and two runs scored. Jeff Morton also went deep for the Mustangs in a perfect 3-for-3 day at the plate, Morton drove in two and scored three runs. | ||||

A four run fourth inning powered the 18th ranked Indians past Coal City. Dean Procarione drove in two runs to pace the offense. Simon Herold picked up the win allowing one run on three hits over five innings pitched, striking out a pair. | ||||
