As wet fields continued to be the rule across the state yesterday, here is a look at scores and highlights from games that were able to be played.
Blackman 14, Father Ryan 4
Kody Keiser went 2 for 3 with a double and DJ wright went 3 for 3 with two doubles to lead the Blaze in the win. Austin Mabry got the win on the mound with seven strikeouts.
Baylor 11, Boyd Buchanan 2
Wilson Maclellan picked up the win on the mound for Baylor . Hunter Mercer had a huge day at the plate going 4 for 4 with a double and Sterling Stewart went 2 for 4.
Cleveland 13, Boyd Buchanan 1
MacIntire went 3 for 3 with a double and Placek went 2 for 2 with a double to lead the Blue Raiders offense. Jefferson picked up the win on the mound.
Harlan County 4, Gatlinburg- Pittman 3
Noah Sims and Eric Hart both went 1 for 2 for the Highlanders offense and Sims added a double. Austin Byrd picked up the lost on the mound.
Jackson South Side 18, Sacred Heart 1
Perkins went 2 for 3 with a triple followed by Kyle Griffen and Tyrin Cox both going 1 for 1 with a double.
Sevier County 11, Anderson County 0
Charlie Brown went 3 for 3 with a double and Austin Conner went 2 for 3 with a double. Chas Hadden added a home run and Chase Wallace picked up the win on the mound.
Warren County 7, Northeast 7
In a game that ended in a tie, Golden went 2 for 3 for Warren County and Justin West went 3 for 5 for Northeast. McCooley had seven strikeouts on the mound for Warren County.
Columbia Academy 9, Forrest 3
Brock went 3 for 4 and Thurman went 2 for 4 to lead Columbia Academy over Forrest. Lentz picked up the win on the mound.
Anderson County 7, Lebanon 3
Brandon Headrick went 2 for 3 and Carson Pack went 2 for 2 to lead the Mavericks over Lebanon. Michael Hackler picked up the win with five strikeouts.
Dobyns Bennett 7, Powell 3
Millsap went 2 for 3 with two doubles and Wolfe was 2 for 4 to lead the Indians over the Panthers. Lambert picked up the win on the mound with eight strikeouts.
Smith County 9, Gordonsville 2
Ethan Hackett and Bryant Goolsby both went 2 for 2 and Logan Fields picked up the win on the mound for Smith County.
HVA 15, Sequoyah 4
Seth Hunt and Dylan Harris had a huge day at the plate for the Hawks. Hunt went 4 for 4 with a double and Harris went 4 for 4 with three doubles and a home run. Will Neely picked up the win on the mound.
Northeast 3, Gwinnett (GA) 2
Nate Harris went 2 for 3 with a double and Jazon Minor and Roman Moore each went 1 for 2. Kyle Primasing got the win on the mound.
CAK 24, Oak Ridge 2
Norrod went 2 for 2 and Chastain went 2 for 4 to lead the Warriors over the Wildcats. Osborne picked up the win on the mound.
Elizabethton 9, .Morristown East 0
Hunter Richardson went 2 for 3 with a double and Cameron Miller went 2 for 2 with a double. Connor Brown picked up the win on the mound.
Sarasota (FL) 6, Collierville 5
In a huge matchup between one of Florida’s best against one of Tennessee’s best, Sarasota edged Collierville. Jesse Kelley went 3 for 3 and Chandler Causey went 2 for 3 to lead the Dragons offensively. Peyton Culbertson had six strikeouts on the mound.
