The Rangers scored in the fifth on a solo home run by Bailey Brix, an error, and a two-run single by Mathew Delfosse. Zach Orlando racked up two RBIs on two hits for the Rangers. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings. Gresham had no answer for Brett Zeutzius, who kept runners off the basepaths in his appearance. Gresham managed just one hit off of the the Rangers' pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out two during his four innings of work. |

Six runs in the first three innings allowed the Blugolds to put the game away early. An error, a groundout by Andy Gundersen, and a passed ball during the first inning and a sacrifice fly by Chris Curti in the second inning fueled Blugolds' offense early.Tyler Young got on base three times in the game for Blugolds. He scored one run and had two RBIs. He doubled in the sixth inning. Alex Schulte put together a nice outing. Riverdale managed just one hit off of Schulte, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out seven during his six innings of work. |
