Here is a look at some of the scores and highlights from the action around the state last evening.
White House 4, Sycamore 1
Luke Hopkins went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI, Cody Gentile had a double, and Landon Sewell had an RBI in the win. Sewell also went the distance on the mound, handing out 10 strikeouts.
Morristown West 8, Cherokee 4
Jacob Jennings went 2-for-3 with a double and 2 RBI, Andrew Bartley went 3-for4 with 4 RBI, Will Heflin went 3-for-4, and Josh McDonald went 3-for-3 win the win. Tanner Collins picked up the win in relief, working 3.2 innings with 5 strikeouts and no earned runs allowed.
Dobyns Bennett 8, Tennessee 6
Daniel Starnes went 3-for-3 with a solo home run, Kellen Glasscock went 3-for-3 with a double and 3 RBI, and Parker Hill hit a double in the win. Starnes also worked 3.1 scoreless innings of relief with 4 strikeouts to pick up the win on the mound.
Hillwood 10, Hillsboro 7
Patrick Lockridge went 2-for-3 with 2 doubles and an RBI, and Case Jeffers went 4-for-4 with 3 RBI in the win. Daniel Kohls went the distance on the mound, handing out 11 strikeouts.

Steven Kendrick had a home run, a double, and 3 RBI, Jacob Sawyers had 2 doubles and an RBI, and Corey Simmons added 2 RBI in the 13 inning win. Dusty Baker pitched 5 innings with 9 strikeouts, and George Cundiff worked 1 scoreless innings of relief to get the win on the mound.

Andrew Franklin went 3-for-4 with a double and 4 RBI, and Travis Smart and Ethan Shelton both went 3-for-4 in the extra inning win. Ryan Hill went the distance on the mound, handing out 8 strikeouts.

Jay Hatfield went 3-for-3 with a triple and 2 RBI, Mason Holden went 3-for-4 with a double, and Connor Creasy had a double and an RBI in the win. Creasy also pitched a complete game shutout with 10 strikeouts.

Jake Presley went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI, Kylar Lynn and Gunnar Norwood both had 2 RBI, and Tyler Carpenter hit a double in the win. Norwood also went the distance on the mound with 9 strikeout and only 1 earned run allowed.

Brendon Dickens had 2 RBI in the victory. Conner Pate had allowed 3 runs in 6 innings with 7 strikeouts to pick up the win on the mound.
