Why did you choose the school you did?

Fletcher: I chose Concordia St. Paul because of the coaching staff, they were really supportive, also the pitching coach is super energetic, and has experience playing high level baseball. Also, Delaney Dahl, a player on Concordia really convinced me to go to CSP.

What other schools were you considering?

Fletcher: Winona State, Bemidji State, Wisconsin- Milwaukee, and Wisconsin- Eau Claire

Where did the coaching staff first see you? How did your relationship develop with him?

Fletcher: The coaching staff saw me at the Top Prospect Games back in June, they reached out to me shortly after that and we just kept talking, and I've been on campus multiple times now.

Do you feel relieved now that the process is over and you can just focus on baseball and not deal with everything that goes into picking a school?

Fletcher: Yes, once I made the decision, I was really relieved and was even more excited to play at Concordia

Was there one deciding factor that put your choice over the top?

Fletcher: Yes, the coaching staff. They were just really supportive, and all of them are very nice. The pitching coach, Kevin Walsh, played baseball at a high level, so I trust he will make me a lot better.

Who has helped you the most to get where you are today?

Fletcher: My dad, he always pushes me to do more and get better.

What were your expectations about the recruiting process? Was it easy/difficult?

Fletcher: I didn’t think it would be hard, I didn’t reach out to any coaches and they all reached out to me so it was pretty easy.

What plans does the coaching staff have in store for you in your freshman season?

Fletcher: They want me to eat a lot more and start gaining a lot of weight.

What is your most memorable baseball moment to date?

Fletcher: Winning the 2019 Gopher State Championship with my legion team.

Who is the best player that you have competed against?

Fletcher: The best pitcher I've faced is probably Michael Sturek, I faced him a couple times in legion, he throws very hard and has a great curveball. The best hitter I have faced is probably Joey Danielson, NDSU commit.
