command center report
Downstate Unsigned Senior (October 21, 2017) Comunale stands with great size at 6-foot-3, 180-pounds on the mound. He uses a slower pace to his delivery and is very sound mechanically. Arm-action is back and clean, long stride with a firm front side, releases from a high 3/4 slot getting on-top of the ball. Fastball sits 80-82 mph with downward depth with consistent accuracy. Curveball sits in the upper 60's with 11/6 shape, changeup has fastball hand-speed in the low-mid 70's (75 peak). Overall, this is an arm that will come in and compete at the next-level with three pitches. Command has been very consistent, there's more velocity in the arm, and mechanics are smooth and repeatable.
