Scout Day: CBA Summit Utah
The CBA Summit - Scout Day is complete, we now take a look back at the standouts from last Saturday’s event. The Scout Day included a Pro-Style Workout where players ran a Laser Timed 60 Yard Dash, took Batting Practice, Catcher Pop Times/Velocity, Outfield Evaluations/Velocity and Infield Evaluation/Velocity concluding with Pitchers Bullpens. This was an exclusive event for players in the CBA Summit program to highlight and promote players in their program.
The CBA Summit Scout Day, featured 30 players from the top travel program in Southern Utah, that also has a handful of players from up north. A couple of players from outside the organization also attended, as we didn’t want to turn away an opportunity for those players. CBA Summit had the vast majority of their players from the 2023-2024 classes with a couple ‘22s, though most of the top ‘22s were out of town in other baseball related activities. We will highlight some standout players that have been known by myself for awhile, and a few who made some improvements and others who we became more familiar with as well.
