Between The Lines Scout Day: Stat Story

The Between The Lines Scout Day was held at their large indoor facility on February 20th. The event featured nearly 40 players from all class and featured some highly ranked players that have made another jump, plus some new names that will makes splashes in our next rankings update.

Leading the way in exit was 6-foot-4 175-pound 2022 Cooper Schwindt (De Soto) going 94 off the tee. The most impressive round of BP on the day belong to uncommitted 2021 Quelann Coleman Jr. (Raytown) who was 93 off the tee and showed consistent barrels and pop to all fields in BP.  Coleman also lead the way in OF velo at 86 mph.  Below are the top performers in each metric collected at the event. 2022 RHP/SS Pierce Wright (Olathe East) showed off a strong arm at 87 mph across the infield and also had a solid round of BP after posting a 86 exit velo. 2022 6-5 183-pound William Jones (Blue Valley) lead the event with a 3.90 60 and bat speed off the tee at 89 mph. 2022 Samuel Fox (De Soto) lead all catchers with a 1.95-2.02 showcase pop times. Fox also produced a loud round of BP and a tee exit velo of 90. On the mound 2024 SS/RHP Jack Millman (De Soto) was outstanding filling up the zone at 80-83 mph. Jack also posted a 88 mph exit velo and loud round of BP as well as clean actions on the infield. Uncommitted 2021 RHP  Adam Trauernicht (Mill Valley) filled up the zone at 80-83.
