Columbine 17 Brighton 10
The Rebels bounced back from a loss to Denver East by delivering 13 hits and scoring 17 runs in Wednesday’s contest. Offensively the Rebels saw No. 46 2015 Michael Tait for 4-4 with 2 RBI and 2 Runs Scored and No. 9 2016 Tommy Gillman went 1-2 with 4 runs scored and 2 RBI. Adrian Trujillo continued his hot hitting with a 2-5 performance and 3 RBI. No. 20 2016 Taylor Dye went 4 innings giving up 5 hits, 3 ER and collecting 3 K’s. For the Bulldogs, No. 19 2015 Conner Reynolds and Gavin Gifford were the offensive stars. Reynolds going 2-3 with 3 runs scored and 2 RBI, Gifford was 3-3 with 1 RBI and 3 runs.
Green Mountain 7 Castle View 2
The Rams are now off to a 3-0 start after taking care of Castle View. Lead by No. 8 2016Wyatt Featherston 2-4 with 1 run and 1 RBI, Chase Upson, 2-3 and a 6 inning 10 K performance from No. 41 2015 Josh Ramirez. Castle View’s Tyler Henninger threw 3 innings gave up 1 run and collected 5 K’s.
Cherry Creek 13 Legend 3
The Bruins ran their record to 4-0 yesterday. Offensively putting up 16 hits with perfect days from; No. 42 2015 Aeneas Roberson 3-3 with 3 runs, Blake Benedetti, 4-4 with 4 RBI and Tanner O’Tremba, 3-3 with 3 runs and 2 RBI. No. 16 2015 Blake Goldsberry threw all 5 innings giving up only 3 runs and racking up 5 K’s. Issac Rincones was 1-2 with 1 run and 2 RBI for the Titans.
