The Arkansas high school season is coming in February, and we're here to cover it. Over the next several weeks, leading up to opening day February 28th, we’ll be putting out our team previews ahead of the 2022 spring season, spotlighting on programs spanning across the different state classifications, leading into a countdown through the official PBR Arkansas Preseason Power 25 Rankings.

We’ve submitted a Preseason Questionnaire to high school head coaches across the entire state. As their responses keep coming in and we’re using the detailed insight they’ve provided in our team-by-team preseason analysis.

OUTLOOK

In one of the toughest conferences with a highly talented region including the reigning state champions to go with six 20 win teams from a year ago, the Brookland Bearcats return a lot of big time players from their 23 win team last season. The Bearcats will have the fire power to compete at a state title in the 2022 season if they can get out of their conference which is loaded.
