Scouting Report

2018 Futures Games:

6-foot-1, 160-pound frame, Long slender body with plenty of room for projection. Working two separate zeroes in Day 1 and Day 3 Seth pounded the zone at 85-87 with a swing and miss slider at 77-80. Filling up the zone Seth’s two innings are sure to bring plenty of attention moving forward. Having made a big jump from 79-82 in the summer, look for more gains as his body continues to fill out his frame.

2018 Futures Games:

6-Foot-3, 175-pound frame, Long limbed and athleticism all over his body, Robert is not hard to miss on the field with his frame. Robert showed easy actions in the outfield with pure slot and carry on his throws. He showed power in batting practice with length to his swing with future power due to his long limbs. On the mound is where Robert more than likely lands as he showed a repeatable delivery with an easy arm stroke. He ran his fastball up to 88 with ease. His curveball had shape and as he progresses on the mound the arm speed and rpm to the break should increase. The ceiling is very high for Bavon on the mound as he should land at a premier Division 1 sooner than later.

Scouting Report

2018 Futures Games:

6-Foot-1, 165 pound frame, Athletic body who can really run especially for a catcher posting a 6.84. Connor got hurt in game two so he saw his futures games come short but in his limited work he showed outstanding presence behind the plate and great feel for working with the staff that he barely knew. Left handed hitter with a line drive approach, Connor as he grows into his frame with strength will be a complete player who can even play the outfield if need be given the run tool. Connor showed well in limited game action and will be a player to watch in the future.

2018 Futures Games:

6-Foot-0, 205-pound frame, physically advanced body with present strength, Gordon is a throwback type player that competes his tail off. Playing the game at high level, Gordon has strength to his swing with pull side power. An aggressive type swing which relies on his backside, Ty swings the bat to inflict damage. Defensively making all the plays at first base, time will tell if size moves him to the corner outfield and if it does he is plenty athletic enough to play a solid corner. Being one of the younger players in the event, excited to see him continue to season as a hitter and big power is coming in the future years for Gordon.

Scouting Report

2018 Futures Games:

6-Foot-0, 200 Pound frame, square build with present strength, Gross worked his fastball up to 90 sitting 87-89. Working up in the zone Gross has the ability to get fly balls as he induced several in both outings. Will also worked a 73-76 curveball that allotted for a strikeout looking. Reliever type arm with power stuff, Gross should continue to improve the fastball and breaking ball as he continues to progress on the mound as the front line arm in his high school season.

Scouting Report

2018 Futures Games:

6-Foot-0, 190-pound frame, strong framed with length to the levers. Magre threw 88 from the outfield and showed gap to gap power with a repeatable swing on workout day. Towing the rubber for the first two innings of the event, magre showed a swing and miss fastball running it up to 88. Pitching 85-87 he showed flashes of outstanding command. His slider was hit and miss but when out in front of the delivery was a devastating pitch. Offensively he notched two hits an oppo double and a single on a breaking ball showing the ability to adjust. Some swing and miss to the swing, but lots to like at the plate as a left handed bat with future power to all fields. A definite two way player that's future will be determined based off how he continues to develop both on the mound and at the plate.

Scouting Report

2018 Futures Games:

6-Foot-0, 190-pound frame, long levered with strength to the body, Rogers showed easy actions and strength to the pull side on workout day. Rogers showed up in game 1 smoking several balls right at the outfielders. Rogers is super aggressive but also showed advanced plate discipline which is a rare combination. Rogers had limited action at third but made a great play on a slow chopper to start the double play. Game 3 Rogers moved over to first showing his versatility boding well for him in the future.

Scouting Report

2018 Futures Games:

6-Foot-0, 175-pound frame, Starks is an athletic body with plenty of room to fill out. Starks is a hidden gem that has raw talent. As he seasons his game look for Starks to be a sleeper in the 2020 class. Showed average actions at third base with carry to the throws from third base. Raw at the plate with power to the pull side, Starks notched two hits and two rbi’s in his limited at bats. Starks future more than likely will be on the mound where he ran his fastball up to 91 on his first pitch of his second outing. Arm strength with a clean arm action is what gives Starks a high ceiling to meet. His range of 82-88 touching 91 shows his rawness but an arm that will only continue to get better as he continues to get on the mound. A possible diamond in the rough, Starks future looks very bright.

Scouting Report

2018 Futures Games:

5-Foot-11, 195-pound frame, square body with present strength and strong lower half. Walker has two quality innings of work, running his fastball up to 85 sitting consistently 84-85. Walker showed command of fastball to both sides with a swing and miss type slider at 72-73. The two different shaped breaking balls he shows made it difficult on hitters. Offensively Williams has present strength and a pull side approach. Some uphill to the swing which leads to some swing and miss, but power will play. Future will determine if walker stays two way in college but will definitely be on the mound at the next level.
