Strong skill set all the way through. Hurley ran a 6.96 and shows + defensive skills up the middle. Great range and feel for playing through balls. Great footwork around second base... Quick release with arm velocity of 71. Slightly open stance, loads to stacked position. Good rotational acceleration produces quick hands. Hands are direct to and through ball and he has feel for line drive path. Exit velocity of 90.8. Currently ranked No. 25 in Colorado's class of 2023. Will benefit as he adds strength.

Sages great hands show up on the baseball field. Defensively, hands are excellent. Creates momentum through the ball and is in good position with quick feet. Arm velocity of 77.  At the plate he has + bat speed with direct inside path to the ball. Middle of field approach with good balance and exit velocity of 90.5. Room for growth and added strength.

Hurley has quick hands at the plate and aggressive rotational acceleration. Line drive tendency from the right-handed hitter with strength and size still coming.  Top exit velocity of 84.5 mph. Very good balanced approach with 4.20 home to first.
