We start our 5280 Spotlight series by highlighting our Colorado players who are elevating their game. The 2022 Colorado class continues to impress. 15 players have committed to D1 programs and so many more remain Uncommitted and under the radar. The Colorado off-season can produce some eye popping results in development. Let’s start with a past PBR Colorado Future Games team member:

5/25/20

6’1” 175 Small deliberate step back to high knee, toe down, leg lift. Balanced with good coil, tall to fall delivery with extended stride. Quick arm and quick arm to extended high 3⁄4 release. Slight pull to glove side. Good glove side leverage creates good torso rotation(and there is more in there) FB 82-84 with arm side run. Pounded zone. CB 67-68 Good arm speed and good 11/5 gradual break. CH 72-73 Consistent arm speed and stayed down in zone. Great tempo and confident in approach. Strikes, Tempo, Change Speeds. Must Follow as he continues to develop!!!

Hit: RHH. Wide base with a light sway and toe tap stride. Gets to rear side at launch. Hands repeatable and get to strong launch position. Bat head slight wrap. Direct path to ball. Consistently gets inside ball on In/Out pitches. Very strong Rear Side Acceleration with balance. Had good contact round. Very Good Mechanical Potential Exit Velo 83
Power: See Ethan as a gap to gap doubles hitter.
Arm: OF Velo 84 Arm Strength. Uses Lower Half and adjusts hips to target. Medium arc on backside, long follow through
Defense: Deliberate movements to ball. Fields ball in front like Infield. Athleticism is evident, room for Defensive growth
