As we close the door on 2022 and head into 2023, PBR MS takes a look at the top 25 most viewed profiles of the year. We are able to drill down into the data and track the number of reads thanks to Google Analytics. As we usually see, the list is dominated by some of the top performers and players who have made commitments this year.

Lafeyette Luke Romine, Hernando, 2025, MS

Position: 1B/LHP

Body: 6-foot, 205-pound solid physical build.

Hit: (LHH) Advanced. Started in an athletic wide stance with a smooth controlled load, then used a short closed stride. Explosive bat speed. High finish, upward swing. Pull side approach. 

Power: , average 80.5 mph.

Defense:  (IF) Sure hands, consistent footwork, natural exchange. Above average. (OF) Sure hands, smooth footwork, quick exchange. Above average. When fielding he gathers the ball to the side. 

Arm: 78 mph infield velocity. 82 mph outfield velocity. Quick arm action, high ¾ slot, consistent accuracy. 

Speed: 7.52 (60-yard).

FB: (Max spin 2108;  Avg 2018). 

SL: (Max spin 2800; Avg 2728).

Lafeyette Luke Romine: 1B/LHP, (2025) Hernando, MS. 6-foot, 185-pound solid frame. Advanced at the plate, Romine recorded an exit velocity of 87 mph. Starts in an athletic stance with a smooth compact load, then uses a controlled stride. Has an upward swing plane, explosive bat speed and good extension on his finish. Found multiple barrels with loud contact. Aggressive gap to gap approach. Above average projectable in the infield, his best throw was recorded at 78 mph; has a natural exchange, consistent feet, and developing hands. Above average from the outfield, he displayed a position velocity of 83 mph; shows a natural exchange, sure hands, and athletic aggressive feet. Used a quick arm action and a high ¾ slot while showing consistent accuracy to the bag. In the 60-yard dash, recorded a time of 7.25. Advanced confident on the mound, used a high ¾ arm angle and a long arm action while showing quick arm speed. Slow-tempo type pitcher and uses some effort. He has even shoulders with an athletic balance point. Lands square with an athletic finish. Curveball (65-67 mph), changeup (66-69 mph). Threw his fastball 81-83 mph with a max of 84 mph;
