2019 Recruiting Class Breakdown: Indiana State

Phil Wade
Indiana Executive Director

With the NCAA's early signing period wrapped up, we take a look at the 2019 high school recruiting classes for each D1 school in Indiana with in-state recruits.  Here, we look at Indiana State's class:

Total Commits: 10

Total In-State Commits: 1

Top 75 Players (IN): 1

"With the departure of several starters after this season, it was extremely important to fill several gaps with the 2019 recruiting class.  We feel good about the young men coming into our program to fill those gaps, but time will tell." - Mitch Hannahs (Head Coach, Indiana State)

The Sycamores landed Lawrence Central HS middle infielder Zach Lane, a top 75 player in Indiana's 2019 rankings.  The 5-foot-11, 165 pound Lane possesses athleticism with fluid defensive actions and above average glove.  A right-handed hitter, Lane shows bat speed with gap to gap potential at the next level.
