POTENTIAL EXPECTATIONS:
The Mustangs will be looking for the formula to play consistent solid baseball out of the gate this year.  There are questions on the mound and in the lineup.  Look for Coach Matile to work several different combinations throughout the year, working to maximize the talent on the roster.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR:
There is solid leadership and a core of talented players.  This group will be leaned on heavily on and off the field as the Mustangs continue to grow throughout the year.

AREAS TO IMPROVE:
Injuries have already affected the pitching staff as projected top arms Trenton Wood and Tyler Cox may be sidelined for 2019.  While this is a tough break it does present an opportunity for the next guy on the roster. Coach Matile will be looking to continue to develop the staff throughout the year.  A late run could come with development, as it did in 2018.
