Offensively: LHH. Open setup, with feet narrow; has a pre-pitch bat waggle. Short take back with the hands with a moderate leg kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a compact swing path with a two handed finish.  More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 95 MPH via Trackman. Uses the entire body to create high end EVs.

Defensively: Starts with a balanced setup; walks into ready position while showing choppy feet. Hands are off to the side with a clean transfer. Long arm swing from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 78 MPH. OF - 84 MPH.

Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using a side step. Mid chest leg drive with a slight lean over the belt. Has a long stride landing inline with the plate. Long arm swing while arm stays in line with 2B; standard 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 82 MPH, while sitting 79-82 MPH; arm side run. CB: 64-67 MPH; early action. 2/11/23

Physical: 6-foot-0, 185 pounds; Athletic, sturdy build. 7.77 runner in the 60.

Offensively: LHH. Even setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; bat positioned at a 45 degree angle. Extended take back of the hands with a moderate leg kick for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing a strong lower half. Showed a direct swing path with a two handed finish.  More line drives than flyballs and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 92 MPH via Trackman. Bat speed averaged out at 73.1mph, creating an impressive hard hit % and max distance of 328ft.

Defensively: Starts with a low to the ground setup; uses prep step while displaying fluid actions to the baseball. Hands are off to the side with a seamless transfer. Long arm swing from a standard 3/4 arm slot.   INF - 85 MPH. Athleticism and arm strength of a skilled 3B if not for the handedness. This is a plus athlete playing the 1B position.

Pitching: Uses a glove side setup while using an angled drop step. Mid chest leg drive with shoulders above the hips. Has a long stride landing inline with the plate. Moderate arm swing while showing some scap load; standard 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 82 MPH, while sitting 81-82 MPH; commands both sides. CB: 67-70 MPH; early action. SL: 71-72 MPH; lateral action. CH: 71-72 MPH; fading action.  Fastball thrown for strikes. Changeup is likely his best pitch, tunneled well off the fastball with plus movement/fade.

10/29/22

Physical: Muscular, athletic 6-foot, 180lb frame. 7.67 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: LHH. Wide, open stance, as the barrel starts on the shoulder. Utilized a leg-kick stride with plenty of tempo to initiate the swing through a flat, whippy path into the hitting zone. Deep two-handed finish that creates some loft towards the pull-side of the field for a strong extra-base hit approach. Recorded a T90 mph exit velocity via Trackman, up to 304 feet.

Defensively: The primary first baseman featured advanced footwork with significant feel around the bag. Stayed low and maintained posture on the front side using a soft glove-hand. Able to get back on double-play feeds, 81 mph across the infield.

Pitching: LHP. Southpaw begins off the middle of the rubber; fluid tempo that holds consistent into footstrike. Fast arm worked to the bottom of the zone at 78-80 mph (1998), mixing a short 70-71 mph CB and faded 70-72 mph CH as the out-pitch.
