Scouting Report
Physical: 6-foot-2, 175 pounds; Lean, long build. 7.62 runner in the 60.
Offensively: RHH. Open setup, with feet just outside his shoulders; upright bat position. Drops hands on the way back with an up and down stride for timing. Stays behind the ball while showing an average effort from the legs. Showed a direct swing path with a two handed finish. More flyballs than line drives and groundballs with a peak exit velocity of 88 MPH via Trackman.
Defensively: Starts with an upright /tall setup; uses prep hop while showing active feet. Hands are out in front with a clean transfer. Moderate arm circle from a standard 3/4 arm slot. INF - 78 MPH.
Pitching: Uses an arm side setup while using a side step. Belt high leg drive with shoulders outside the hips. Has a long stride while landing slightly open. Long arm swing while showing no restrictions; standard 3/4 slot. Square to the plate with finish. FB: Peak velo of 80 MPH, while sitting 78-79 MPH; straight action. CB: MPH;SL: 63-65 MPH; slurve like. CH: 68-70 MPH; maintains same plain.
