Holiday Hitters - Burlington: Hitting Data Dive

On Thursday, the PBR Ontario staff hosted the first of its three part Holiday Hitters Series, Holiday Hitters - Burlington, at Strike Zone Training in Burlington, Ontario. This event featured roughly 45 players from the across the province in the 2024 - 2028 classes and allowed our staff an opportunity to get an in-depth look at how players are progressing this winter as players received several extended rounds of BP utilizing our TrackMan for the complete breakdown and metrics.

Exit Velocity: This metric measures the speed of the ball, measured in miles per hour, as it comes off the bat at the moment of contact.

SWEET SPOT %

Sweet Spot percentage: This metric is determined by how often the player produces a batted ball during the session with a launch angle between 8 to 32 degrees.
