On Sunday, Feb. 7, Prep Baseball Report will host the 19th edition of its prestigious, flagship event: the Super 60 Pro Showcase. Since the event’s inception in 2003, more than 300 players have been selected in the MLB Draft, including 22 first-round picks and 25 second-rounders.

We started our our march toward the Super 60 earlier this month, by highlighting the prospects set to join us, shining a light on their impressive player profiles that they've groomed through their high school years and beyond.

Scouting Report

1/22/21
Bruni now stands at a stout, 6-foot-3, 205-pounds, and the considerable athleticism seen at a young age has helped him develop into one of the more impressive prospects in the midwest. Also a talented hitter, the southpaw’s work on the mound gives him a chance to catch some helium this spring. His fastball sits 88-91 with much more in the tank, and should the secondary stuff tick up throughout the spring, there is a chance that his name rises up draft boards.

2/11/18
The No. 1 overall prospect in the state’s 2021 class and a top 20 prospect in the national rankings. Continues to get better each time we see him. Arm is long/loose with advanced strength for class. Velocity continues to steadily climb, sitting 85-87 mph on this day. Breaking ball appeared sharper than at the Future Games as well. The 6-foot-3 southpaw has already collected several offers and is receiving attention from schools across the country. For what it’s worth he’d likely he’d be a potential D1 bat as well if he wasn’t such a high level prospect on the bump.
