6/12/22

Physical: Lanky, athletic 5-foot-11, 155lb frame. 6.87 runner in the 60-yard dash.

Offensively: RHH. Slightly open, balanced stance, as the hands operated in circular rhythm. Utilized a controlled leg-hang stride to initiate the swing through a slightly uphill, rotational path. Plenty of intent at impact and weight-shift, producing a T88 mph bat-exit velocity up into the 330+ foot range. Good pound for pound juice to LCF gap, but could spray it around when pitched to different zones.

Defensively: The shortstop demonstrated choppy footwork and up tempo approach on the ball. Fielded off his left and allowed for momentum through release (79 mph arm-strength). Appealing skill set for the left side of the diamond, also able to handle 2B.
