Fresh off a strong performance at the 2024 Prep Baseball Future Games, '26 C/OF Brady Mills continues to raise his stock. Highlighting a data dive which shows why Mills is such a versitile prospect that remains uncommitted.

Physical: Mills has a lanky build at 6-3, 180lbs. Will benefit once the frame continues to fill out.

Running: At the #24PBFG Mills ran his best 60-yard dash to date (7.12s) which is a generally weaker area for catchers. Mills has shown consistent improvement in this area which helps translates the athleticism throughout his game.

Hitting: The numbers offensively do not jump off the page, but show a consistent swing with room for improvement once the strength continues to develop. At 24PBFG Mills had a 92 mph exit velo with a 88 mph AVG. The number to look at is the line drive percentage which was at 50% while the other 50% were ground balls. with a little more loft/backspin Mills profiles as a gap to gap hitter with some power potential down the road.

Defense: The catch/release skills Mills displayed really showed at the Future Games this year. Starts to gain ground early with a clean transfer, plenty of arm strength to boot. Catcher velo: 82 mph Pop-Time: 1.78-1.83

Pitching: On Day 4 of the Future Games Mills delivered one of the more impressive innings on the mound for team New York. The FB lived 86-88 T89 with a late breaking BB. The command was the most impressive part of the outing, consistently hitting the arm-side corner with the FB. Back at our New York State Games in June, Mills threw the FB ITZ at a 71% clip.
