Central Region Super Sophomore Games: Data Dive

Eliott Wilk
Central Region Operations Director

From Saturday, August 3, through Sunday, August 4, Prep Baseball hosted the inaugural Central Region Super Sophomore Games at Creekside Baseball Park in Parkville, MO.

Nine teams comprised of the top sophomores from Arkansas, Colorado, Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Texas underwent a full pro-style workout Saturday morning before breaking off into teams for game play Saturday evening and Sunday.

Inside this piece, we'll be breaking down the top statistical performers from Saturday's workout as well as the top performers on the mound over the weekend, using the data we collected from the athletic tests we conducted and the state-of-the-art technology that was on-site capturing batted-ball measurements, swing metrics, and pitch analysis.
