Nebraska Spring Preview Stand Outs

Our first event of 2018 saw nearly 90 players from the 2018 - 2021 class come out and showcase their tools as they were put through your typical indoor showcase format with Home to 1B, exit velocity, and offensive and defensive evaluations. . If this was any sign of things to come, players have definitely been working hard this winter and it looks to be a promising year in Nebraska.   The event featured players from all over the state of Nebraska and a few from Iowa and South Dakota.

Their were some premium arms on the day with maybe the biggest winner being Ethan Peterson ('18, Elkhorn South). Peterson ranked #49 in the Nebraska 2018 class and was previously committed to Nebraska-Kearney sat 87-89 mph during his short bullpen session. He's got a compact frame with an extremely quick arm. Peterson recommitted to Hutchinson CC on Wednesday night.
