Stat Leaders: 2021 State Games of NC

Brandon Hall
Mid-Atlantic Executive Director

Each year the State Games of North Carolina does a terrific job of providing opportunity for athletes in many sports, across many age ranges, to compete against one another.  One of those sports is baseball, and the event quickly grew into one of the most watched showcases across the country.

This year, as it has for over 30 years, the State Games of North Carolina divided the state into 8 regions, with high school coaches selecting teams from their region to compete for one week at the State Games.  This year, the workout day took place at history Durham Athletic Park.  The four days of game play followed at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.

PBR was on hand for each day of the State Games.  Below is our continuing coverage of the 2021 edition of the State Games of NC.

60 Yard Dash

The 60 was run on a natural grass surface in the outfield of historic Durham Athletic Park.  The surface seemed to play true throughout the day, with positive times being posted in every session.  All times below were hand recorded by PBR Scouts in attendance.
