Earlier this week, our staff released the updated Class of 2025 Rankings, as we expanded from 200 to 225 players. Below, we take a look at ten players that make a considerable jump in this update, including video and scout notes on each.

Brayden Robinson RHP / ARCHBISHOP SPALDING HIGH SCHOOL, MD / 2025

The West Virginia commit possesses a long, imposing 6-foot-7, 240-pound frame with an effortless delivery, producing a high 80s, low 90s fastball that gets on hitters quick. The curveball showcases promise and tunnels well off the fastball, producing ugly swings with occasional whiffs in the zone. Robinson rises inside the top 20, up 7 spots to No. 17.

Nick Bilotto RHP / Glenelg, MD / 2025

A special arm here out of Glenelg High School. The Delaware commit rises inside the top 25 for the first time after yet another strong summer for US Elite. Operating out of a tough 3/4 slot makes for plenty of uncomfortable ABs for right-handed hitters, and the fastball/slider combo doesn't make it any easier. The fastball velo continues to uptick, sitting in the upper 80s/low 90s with arm side run and plenty left in the tank. The slider showcases some sweep with high spin and the ability to produce whiffs out of the zone.

Collin Park LHP / Mount St Joseph, MD / 2025

The Columbia commit continues to impress in each look, leading to a substantial rise in this update inside the Top 25. In what is a loaded class of arms, Park tends to fly under the radar, however, a strong showing at this summer's Maryland Open certainly opened my eyes to the projection and current ability that is in the tank. The fastball sits mid-80s with the ability to grab an 89 with relative ease. The ability to change eye levels is what impresses me the most, moving the fastball up and down consistently with feel for the zone to most quadrants.

Caden Blanck LHP / severn school, MD / 2025

Yet another high-rising southpaw in this update, Blanck rises 20 spots to No. 25 and is the new No. 1 ranked uncommitted player in the class. It's a smooth, repeatable operation on the bump, working a mid-80s fastball to both sides of the plate with strong feel for a sweeping slider down in the zone. Plenty left in the tank, look for the velocity to tick up as the fall/winter months wear on.

Joaquin Rodriguez-Costa 1B / Sussex Central High School, DE / 2025

Coming off an injury-ridden 2023 campaign, the Delaware commit has hit the ground running in 2024 and has showcased an impressive skillset on both sides of the ball. Standing at a physical 6-foot-6 frame, the strength is evident with present pull-side strength and consistent barrel feel through the zone. Active, quick hands allow for plenty of barrel whip through contact. On the bump, the actions continue to clean up, and the strike percentage is increasing, running the fastball consistently in the upper 80s with a strong curveball/changeup mix to keep hitters off balance. As the frame cleans up and the body continues to add strength, look for 2025 to be just another step in the right direction for the physical two-way.

Andrew Kummer RHP / MOUNT SAINT JOSEPH HIGH SCHOOL, MD / 2025

The lean 6-foot-2 righty caught my eye for the first time this spring at Mount St. Joe and the fastball was certainly overpowering. Fast-forward to the summer and the pitch mix continued to get stronger and crisper in each look. It's an explosive, repeatable operation on the bump with a strong, heavy fastball in the upper 80s/low 90s at the knees. The slider has made big improvements over the summer, showcasing tight, harder break with the ability to induce swing and miss in and out of the zone. Projectability and pure confidence/moxie stand out.

Brooks Franklin SS / DEMATHA CATHOLIC HIGH SCHOOL, MD / 2025

A mainstay at the top of these rankings, the Navy commit has one of the higher contact rates across the state, and the strength being consistently added to the frame allows for a bigger impact on both sides of the ball. Smooth, fluid actions up the middle with above-average arm strength should allow Franklin to stay on the left side of the infield at the next level, and the fluid stroke at the dish sees projection at the top of the lineup.

Steven Donigan LHP / Caesar Rodney , MD / 2025

A few strong looks this summer leads to a rise inside the top 50 for the recent Longwood commit. The fastball velo was a tick down this summer, however was in the upper 80s this spring with occasional sink and arm side run that played well to both sides of the plate. The slider shows feel in the zone with the ability to backfoot to right-handed hitters, allowing the fastball to play a tick higher in the zone. As the frame matures, look for this southpaw to make a big jump this fall/winter.

Gavin Metrick RHP / Reservoir, MD / 2025

A standout at this year's MD State Games led to a commitment to Towson University for the Reservoir righty. The stuff plays in the zone with the ability to create whiffs with the slider both in and out of the zone. The fastball sits in the mid-80s with more feel to the glove side, mixing in a tight, high-spin slider away to right-handed hitters. Effectively wild allows the fastball to play a tick up in the zone and should bode well as the feel for the secondary continues to improve.

Nate Martin SS / Liberty, MD / 2025

Following a standout spring at Liberty High School, Martin continued his strong 2024 campaign with a standout performance at this year's MD State Games, leading to an invite to the Senior Future Games at Lakepoint this summer. It's a physical frame with quick twitch actions on both sides of the ball, showcasing strength to the gaps at the dish with quick, active hands up the middle defensively. Simple, fluid actions.
