10/19/13 - 6-foot, 180-pound catcher. Offensively hits from a balanced stance, athletic setup, short stride, high hands. Steep path, occasional extension, 63 mph exit velocity. Defensively posted pop times at 2.18-2.32. Arm action is short, over the top, showed accuracy, long transfer. Arm played at 73 mph from the crouch.

7/8/13: 6-foot, 180 pound incoming junior was 2.08-2.14 with his pop times behind the plate.  Tends to fall off towards third base on his throws to second base.  With improved footwork should improve his pop time.  At the plate starts with a wide base.  Loads back smoothly with little to no stride.  Shows some stiffness in his lower half.  Long, uphill swing produces top spin.
