On the day, Eikhoff showed "Elite Bat Speed" with an exit velocity of 90 mph. He showed gap-to-gap power in the round of batting practice with a short, smooth stroke. In the field, the UVA commit showed outstanding athleticism, quickness, and plus actions. He used his feet to approach and work through the baseball, while staying under control. Eikhoff was also impressive during the 60 yard dash, where he was clocked at a 6.97.
