5.22.16:  Brubaker stands an athletic 6-1. He throws from a high three-quarters arm slot with a short, loose arm action and some effort. Shoulders are downhill and closed as he strides to a closed landing with an athletic finish. Fastball had slight cut, sitting 76-78. 10/4 downer slider with decent armspeed, running 66-70. Fading change-up with decent armspeed that ran 71-74. Brubaker hits from a wide stance, rock back load. He has short to contact and long to finish approach. He has a strong lower half that results in hard line drives at an exit velocity of 87. From the outfield, he has a corner outfield build with an average transfer and a strong arm resulting in a positional velocity of 81.  

2/15/15:  Hit from a tall/balanced stance with high hands.  Smooth load back.  Short stride with a slight leg kick.  Good balance throughout the swing.  Took a good approach during the round with a fluid rhythm.  Short, level bat path with extension.  Line drive stroke with strong hands.  Attacked the baseball.  Had an Exit Velocity of 82 mph.  In the field, threw from a high ¾ arm slot with a short arm action that was accurate and had some life.  Footwork was methodical at times as he played through the ball.  Showed average hands with long, clean exchanges.  Showed slight above average arm strength with a Positional Velocity of 82 mph.
