Harden continues to improve his game and is turning into quite the prospect in the 2018 class in Virginia. An athletic infielder Harden is fun watch on the field and at the plate. Offensively Harden hits from an athletic setup slightly open. He has a short path to the ball with quick hands and a barrel that stays in the zone. At times he can be pull happy in his swing but when he free's hands up he shows bat speed and gap-to-gap ability. There is some untapped power potential that should come out as he continues to get more reps. Rawness to his game which does give reason for excitement about his potential. Defensively he shows high instincts with a quick first step in the ability to read swings. He covers a lot of ground from the shortstop position and can get to plenty of plenty of balls on the infield. He has a short release, quick arm, and showed the ability to throw from multiple angles. Harden has the ability he could potentially stay in the infield at the next level but should not have a problem if you would move to the Outfield and could be a very good prospect out there as well.

6.1.17 - Athetic actions in the field with a confident first step. Shows quick twitch from the short stop position, covers ground well at the position. Potentially would move to the outfield at the next level. Shows bat speed at the plate with some strength. Best days are in front of him as he develops.
