The right-hander works from a high-¾ slot, long reach down out of the glove the gets his hand back on top at release. His ball has some depth to it when he gets to extension showing arm-side run. Fastball velocity in the first inning was 84-86 mph, touching 87 once. He settled in for the rest of the game at 80-84 mph. He was able to change speeds with his changeup at 73 mph. His slider was 72 mph with loose spin, effective at times and got a little better in his last inning of work.
