Fastball was mostly 85-87 out of the stretch in the second inning, but he was still able to reach back for 88 and 89 when needed. His curveball flashes sharp 12-6 depth at 73-76 mph when he stays on line, but goes to 11/5 shape when he falls off to his glove side. His best inning was the third when he sat down two batters hitters in a row on strikeouts with a runner on second base. Was lifted in the fourth with a final line of 3.1 IP, 2 H, 3 R, 2 ER, 6 K, 4 BB.
