6/10/15 - 6-foot-3, 170-pound lefty uses shorter/quick arm action, showed an 81-85 mph fastball that topped at 86 on one occasion. The velocity from the left side quickly opened some eyes, but what was even more interesting was Wiggington’s ability to throw strikes from multiple arm slots. He routinely varied his slots between low-3/4 and high-3/4, and the movement on his fastball varied from cutting action to arm-side run.  Wiggington also showed good feel for his 67-69 mph curveball, striking out a right-handed hitter looking on a back door curveball in his second inning of work, allowed three hits (an infield 1B and bloop 1B) and struck out two in his two inning outing, big upside for this 2017 lefty.
