Defensively Absher shows short arm action, some accuracy, good arm strength, soft hands, fluid footwork, clean exchange, plays through the ball, and has natural corner instincts. Absher plays a very solid third base. Offensively Absher shows some bat speed from the right side and had an 80 mph exit velocity off the tee. Absher hits from a balanced setup with a leg kick involved, gets some use out of his lower half, shows good overall balance, has an aggressive approach at the plate, has a level path with a pull side approach. Absher went 2 for 3 in game play with a double and a single and stole two bases. As a pitcher, shows a loose arm that works through a ¾ to high-3/4 arm slot with normal effort, drop and drive type delivery, fastball showed occasional arm side run and sat at 81-82 mph, touched 83 on one occasion, works both sides of the plate well with the fastball. Absher’s curveball has an 11/5 break at 72-74mph. He had two strikeouts and gave up one hit in one inning pitched during game play. Absher committed to Maryville College following the event.

Defensively, Absher shows good athletic ability and soft hands with good arm strength, showed fluid footwork and is a solid defender at the 3B position. Offensively Absher has above average bat speed from the right side with an 86 mph exit velocity off of the tee. He hits from balanced setup with a leg kick involved and is a line drive type hitter that has gap to gap power potential. Can be more aggressive at times in attacking the baseball. On the mound, RHP uses shorter arm action through a high-3/4 slot, has an up tempo delivery and works quickly, shows ability to consistently throw strikes, fastball is straight and sat 78-80 mph but touched 83 on one occasion, showed a 68 mph curveball with short 11/5 action, threw one changeup at 75 mph for a strike, pitched a perfect inning in recording two infield pop-ups and a fly ball to the outfield.
