6/10/15 - The 6 foot 3, 170-pound prospect posted a 7.14 60 time. Defensively Judd had a position velocity of 82 mph from the outfield with accuracy and good arm strength. Had soft hands, clean exchange, and played through the ball well. Offensively Judd hits from the left side with fast bat speed and had exit velocity off the tee of 84 mph. Judd hits from a balanced setup with a short stride and explodes with his lower half. Judd shows good projectability with his frame. He went 1-for-5 in game play with a single. As a pitcher, long and lanky frame with good projection, arm is loose and works through a high-3/4 slot, fastball shows occasional arm-side run and sink at 80-83 mph, throws a 70-73 mph slider with short/late action that got some swings and misses, has very good confidence and feel for his 70-71 mph changeup, pounds the strike zone with all pitches, struck out the side in order in his first inning of work, finished his two-inning outing allowing one hit with four strikeouts, interesting mound prospect with good pitcher’s frame that projects for more velocity.
