6/23/15 - The 5 foot 11, 155-pound righty has a lanky athletic build and showed a up tempo delivery. Throwing from a ¾ to high-3/4 arm angle, Myers’ lively fastball sat at 84-85mph topping out at 87mph with good arm-side run. His curveball with 11/5 action sat from 70-73 mph with a very sharp late break. Did a great job spotting up curveball as it showed to be very effective against hitters. Slider sat at 71-75mph with lateral action. Changeup at 76mph with gradual sinking action as it approached the hitters zone. During game play , Myers gave up two hits and had three strikeouts in his two innings pitched. As a position player, posted a 4.47 home to 1st time and had a 78 mph position velocity across the infield. Defensively Myers showed soft hands, fluid footwork, quick exchange, and plays through the ball well. Shows good arm strength with accurate throws and has short arm action that allows him to get rid of the ball quickly. Has the ability defensively to stay at shortstop at the next level. Offensively Myers shows some bat speed and had an 81 mph exit velocity off the tee from the right side. Myers hits from an open setup, has a short stride, good to average balance, and uses lower half adequately .Myers shows some pop off his bat but is an overall line drive type hitter. Myers went 1-for-4 in game play with a single. Shows good projectability and has an athletic frame.

11/1/14 - 5-foot-11, 150 pound prospect with an athletic frame, uses short arm action through high- 3/4 arm slot, fastball sat 81-84 mph topping out at 85 mph with good arm side run, cutter shows hard late action, curveball is 66-73 with sharp 12/6 movement with good arm speed, slider showed improvement with tight spin and better feel at 71-75 mph, gave up one hit and recorded one strikeout in two innings of work, throws a lot of strikes and challenges hitters. As a position player, posted stats and numbers consistent with his performance at the North Tennessee College Prospect Showcase held in August. At the plate he showed a few evident changes. Stance was slightly open with arm bar and toe tap stride, respectable 80 mph exit velocity, longer uphill swing path than at previous event, went 1-for-4 at the plate with a single to right field, 4.77 home to first time. Short, high-3/4 arm action, soft hands, accurate throws to the bag, 75 mph arm velocity. Two way player who shows promise on the mound and working to improve offensive and defensive skill set.
8/24/14 - 5-foot-11, 150 pound prospect posted a 7.35 60-yard dash time and 80 exit tee velocity. Defensively showed a 75 mph arm across the infield. Good range to both sides. Short, high ¾ throwing action with accuracy and good line carry. Hits from a balanced set up. Slight arm bar that should improve as he gains strength and matures physically. Uses lower half adequately. Good bat speed. Takes a level swing that produces line drives and shows gap power potential. On the mound, uses shorter arm action through high ¾ arm slot, throws consistent strikes with his 81-85 mph fastball that shows some arm side- run, also throws a cutter that has some hard late action, sharp 12/6 action on curveball in the 66-70 range, near fastball arm speed on change-up that was in the 69-72 mph range, tight spin and late action on slider that was consistently between 71-75, tends to rush and fall towards 1B, good upside and should continue to develop strength to add velocity and refine secondary pitches.
