Offensively, Fortner hits from the right side and had a 72 mph exit velocity off the tee. Fortner hits from an open setup, has a short stride, uses his lower half, overall good balance, confident approach, solid and repeatable swing that is direct to the ball, fluid rhythm, line drive type hitter had a very good round of batting practice.
