10/16/16- Florida International recruit. Stands at 6-foot-2, 208 pounds with a solid, projectable build with long limbs. Quick arm out of the ¾ slot that causes the ball to jump on the batter. Fastball sat 93-94 mph with life, touching 96 along with a slider at 73-74 mph and a change up at 84-85 mph with similar fastball arm speed. Fastball was 91-92 mph in his second inning, still touching 93 in his third inning of work. Showed a good mix of his pitches. Worked quickly and with confidence. He showed an extremely easy arm action with room to fill out in the frame. He also showed the shape of a plus slider and a feel for the change. This combination could make him a potential Day 1 pick in the draft.
