2/7/15 Monico ran a solid 7.18 60-Yard Dash and demonstrated the ability to consistently square the baseball from a slightly closed right-hand stance. The 5-foot-8, 165-pound junior used a heel raise stride and a flat swing path to generate a bat exit velocity of 78 mph. Defensively, Monico showcased good feet and a soft glove hand with a bit of a long arm throwing motion. With work to shorten his throwing motion Monico could remain on the left side of the infield at the next level.
