6/18/14 Martin sat 82-84 with considerable arm side run to his fastball. Martin displayed a 71 mph curveball, 78 mph slider and 75 mph changeup out of a loose 3/4 arm slot. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound righty gets out over his front leg well and his pitches show good late life. His frame suggests added velocity is likely in the near future.
4/11/14 Martin sat 81-84 with looseness to his throwing motion. The junior also utilized a 74 mph slider out of the same 3/4 arm slot. The 6-foot-2, 170-pound righty has an athletic frame and room to add to his frame moving forward.
