2/23/13 Sipes is a 5-foot-7, 140-pound prospect who has clean actions and soft hands. Sipes showcased a quick release and a 75 mph arm across the diamond. The right-handed hitter used a square stance and a 75 mph bat exit velocity to consistently barrel the baseball. Sipes has the potential to be a quality top of the order hitter.
10/11/12 Sipes was one of the most talented defenders among the infielders at the event. The 5-foot-7, 135-pound 2B/SS showed soft hands, good range, and fluid actions in the middle infield. Sipes ran a 7.60 60-yard dash and displayed a 77mph bat exit speed. Offensively, Sipes showed the ability to be a consistent line drive hitter, using a short swing path to spray baseballs to all fields during his round of batting practice.
8/15/12 Sipes was impressive with the glove, flashing soft hands, good range and the ability to make all the plays. The 5-foot-7, 135-pound prospect ran a 7.50 60-yard dash and threw 72mph across the infield. He demonstrated a solid approach at the plate with a bat exit speed velo of 71mph.
