6/12/13 Cook displayed very good range and solid straight line throws to the plate with good carry at 84 mph. The 5-foot-9, 150-pound right-handed hitter showcased a square stance and a line drive approach in a batting practice round that saw him barrel the baseball consistently. Although Cook went on to go 0-for-6 in game play during the course of the event he did show the ability to be a top of the order hitter with the ability to put the ball in play consistently.
9/26/12 Cook continues to improve in all facets of the game. The 5-foot-8, 150-pound right handed hitter showcased a strong arm at 80mph from the outfield, a solid 60-yard dash time of 7.18 and a bat exit speed of 75mph. He had hits in both games on the weekend and impressed with his range and ability to go get the baseball from his outfield position.
8/15/12 Cook showed very well in the outfield with precise routes to the ball and good carry (79mph). The 5-foot-8, 150-pound right hander has solid fundamentals and exhibits a real desire for the game. Cook has a solid approach during his round of batting practice using a solid base and square stance. He showcased a 71mph bat exit speed velo and ran a 7.47 60-yard dash.
6/14/12 Cook was the one of the top overall prospects from the event. The 5-foot-8, 150-pound outfielder showcased well in the field and at the plate. Offensively, Cook displayed a quick bat and strong lower half while hitting line drives. In the field, Cook's feet and hands worked well together and he displayed a solid arm (78 mph) from the outfield.
