The junior displayed a slightly open stance and utilized a short swing path to barrel the baseball frequently during his round of batting practice. Kerber ran a solid 7.24 60-yard dash on a slow track and showed a 69 mph arm across the diamond from his middle infield position.
12/28/12 Kerber showed a short swing with good extension that produced consistent line drives to all fields. He displayed a 73 mph bat exit speed and the ability to consistently square the baseball.
