6/17/15 6-foot, 185-pound left-handed hitter. Started from a slightly open stance and took a negative stride to slightly closed. Smooth stroke with some bat speed that generated some loft in BP. Bottom hand dominated the swing in game action, causing him to not quite get the barrel to contact on time or on angle, but there’s plenty to work with offensively. Posted an in-game 4.34 home-to-1B time. Showcased 85-mph exit velocity and 82-mph arm strength during workout. Good feet, soft hands, incorporates lower half into throw well, showed range to his left during game play.

2/22/15 The 6-foot, 185-pound infielder just looks the part with a solid, athletic frame. He demonstrated good agility and flexibility in his lower half as he showed range and consistently played through the baseball. He showed softness in his hands as well as a quick exchange to his transfer. Already, he possess the arm strength to play on the left side of the infield. Offensively, the left-handed hitter starts with a wide stance and use a small stride at best. Backside gets through. Hands load from his shoulder and are quick into the zone. Slight loft with solid line drive production. Top exit velocity of 81 mph. Will only improve as he gets physically stronger. Definite follow.
