Ran a 7.32 60-yard dash and a 4.50 in-game home-to-1B time. Showcased 87-mph exit velocity and 77-mph arm strength during workout. Exhibited very good actions and feet defensively, with a smooth, quick release on his throws.

4/27/15 5-foot-11, 150-pounder showed advanced defensive abilities with the athleticism and arm strength to remain on the left side of the infield at the next level. Displayed fluid actions and the ability to make all plays during in/out. Made several difficult plays look routine in game action with quick release and solid footwork. Gamer, first player on and off field each inning. Short, compact swing from square stance as right handed hitter.

11/1/14 McKeever has the potential to be a very good defender at the next level. He showcased excellent feet, fielded the ball out front, and his arm strength appeared to play better than its velocity because he worked through his throws well. The 5-foot-11, 150-pounder starts from a slightly knock-kneed stance and strides to a wide base, which, at times, has him off balance. He gets his foot down early, and flashed some bat speed, while taking a short path and staying inside the ball.
